The landing page is just the beginning
The build for this exceptional landing page was handled by Foresite.'s Dave but the real credit goes to the project team; from stakeholders through to the designers & 3D artists. They did an outstanding job!
MetaGame, for the uninitiated, is a massive online coordination game with the goal of seeking the most optimal ways to play life on a personal as well as the collective level. Consider it a real-life MMO-RPG & know we’re producing educational content, organizing events, onboarding people into the DAO space & building a network of DAOs as well as an operating system for composable communities & platforms.
Into the onboarding game
Dave also worked on the concept of the onboarding game & was responsible for bringing it to life. He's been working at the heart of the MetaGame project & it's community for almost 3 years.
Accessed via the MetaGame landing page, the onboarding game takes the user through a text based adventure of learning some of the basics about MetaGame and Web3 and at the end, gives them an Achievement NFT which for some is their first NFT.
Based on a concept that peth and Dave came up with over a few chats in Discord and a heap of inspiration from one of the great 'awakening' movies The Matrix; Peth wrote the story/adventure and Dave tied it all together and made it come to life using Typescript. You can play the game via the MetaGame website! Perhaps this is where you begin your MetaGame journey! 🐙
We added in the idea of having an Achievement NFT which leverages the power of MetaGame's 'Chievemints System and links to a playbook (that Dave wrote) which explains how to get yourself set up with a Web3 wallet, (should you be completely new to Web3 & NFTs) in order to claim your NFT.
Alongside the landing page and the Onboarding game, we have the dashboard for MetaOS - The design of which was handled beautifully by MetaGame's Design Lead, Dave (Another Dave). Foresite.'s Dave built most of the dashboard in use by users of MetaOS and also designed the Seed and XP blocks on the Dashboard.
